Georges Quertant (1894-1964)

Georges Quertant was an insatiable researcher. Music teacher and conductor, he will be the precursor of the techniques of “Electro-encephalography” and “Neuro-Biomechanics”. Inspired by the work of Claude Bernard, he will devote most of his life to the research and development of "Neuro-Somato-Psycho-Pedagogy", at the origin of the "Psycho-Sensorial Culture" (C.P.S) .

His work earned him honors and distinctions from the medical, scientific and educational worlds.

He was named Knight of the Legion of Honor to the Order of National Education as Founder of the C.PS.

Children and adolescents in difficulty were at the forefront of his concerns, as was also the rehabilitation of prisoners and deportees.

“Psycho-Sensorial Culture (PSC)” by G. Quertant “directly concerns the brain. It fills the void that separates neurophysiology from psychotherapy (…). It allows an objective examination of the causes (of the functional disorders) and offers an effective and safe means of eliminating them. » D.E. DUNLAP, Doctor of Science from the University of Gottingen (A.F.) Monaco.
